Multimedia artist Kristin Trüb (b. 1986) combines photography with
sounds, interviews, film sequences and found footage.
Her first book “Letzte Generation Ost” was published
by Éditions Bessard in 2015. She is interested in personal
stories in connection with historical events.

From 2005 to 2010 Kristin Trüb worked for the largest
German Broadcasting Station Westdeutscher Rundfunk
as media designer, camera operator and editor. In 2010
she began her studies in photography at the University for
Applied Sciences & Arts in Dortmund. Since then she also
works as freelance photographer, camera operator and
editor for various film production companies.

Her book “Letzte Generation Ost” was nominated for the
International Dummy Award (2015) and named by the
Goethe Institut as one of the six most interesting photobook
projects from young German artists (2014/2015). Fotografia
Magazine included the book in their #OutNow Vol. 7 list of
“Six Best New Photobooks You Should Know”(2016).

Kristin Trüb currently lives, works and studies in Dortmund, Germany.
